I figured it was time to update my blog a little bit.  It has been about a year and a half since I last updated it and that is about the time I met my now wife, Ashley Ellen Mansfield Hoth.  We have been married for four months and she is amazing.  She is my best friend and we are so happy.  There are ups and downs but there isn't anything that we can't face together.

She is from all over because she was raised in the Air Force.  Her dad was a doctor and has just retired in Washington.  She has a great family and it has been fun to join her family as she has joined mine.

We dated for just over a year and then we were married.  We got married in the Bountiful, Utah temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  It was an incredible day and definitely a day that I will always remember.  We then went to Midway, Utah for our honeymoon since we were currently in school.

Since we got married we also graduated.  I have been working on my degree for now five years and have just graduated with my Masters of Information Systems Management.  I am also searching for a job so if there is anything that you know of let me know. :)  It also turned out that my wife was graduating the same time as me.  She still has an internship that she needs to do before she is completely graduated but she is almost there.  The plan is to do her internship this coming fall semester (Fall 2012).

You know, it's interesting how long it takes to realize that you need to write something. It's almost been two years. I guess a little too much has happened to write everything but here is a synopsis.

I have been going to school for three years now. I am in the ISYS program at BYU. Last year I was accepted as an undergrad and this year I have been accepted into the graduate program. That means that the next two years I will be halfway between an undergrad and a grad student. It's kind of funny. It will be good though. I graduate April 2012 with my masters. I'm kind of really excited.

I have worked at the MTC from April 2009 and I now work with the referral center technology. It's way awesome. I have been involved with the new mormon.org and the new internet prosyliting for the church. It's an exciting time.

Last thing: IT'S GOING TO SNOW LIKE CRAZY IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS!!! I love the snow! I was planning on going home tomorrow but I might go today. We'll see. I have a lot of homework to do though. Happy day. :(

At the beginning of this school year I decided to get a group of friends together and go up Timpanogos. We started hiking around 2 AM and got up there to see the sunrise. It was a lot of fun but I always forget how physically strenuous it is. I kind of pulled a muscle on the way up and beat the tar out of my knee on the way down. It was actually really hard to walk by the end. It was a fun trip. There were eight of us that went. Dave, Shawn, Liz, Trisha, Amy, Jamie, Rachel and I. It was a lot of fun.

This picture is of us on the top of Timpanogos, right by the shack.

We were also able to go to the temple while we were there. It was a great experience. This is one of my favorite temples of all time. It is so amazing and beautiful inside. I wish I could live by it so that I could go to the Nauvoo temple all the time. On this trip we had my whole family and also the Knight family. There were 20 of us all together. It was a lot of fun.

We were able to see a few really cool sunsets and this is the one that we could really capture with the camera.

We (my family and I)just got back from Nauvoo on Saturday. While we were out there we found a lot of wild life. We found this frog on the stage of the performance that we just finished watching. It was called Sunset by the Mississippi. It was really good. My aunt and uncle were in it. It was a lot of fun. We also caught a few fire flies while we were out there. You don't see too many fire flies in Utah.
